Fan clutch needed

I did get a reply back today from Four Seasons Inc/Haydens. The tech tells me that the numbers I have researched from both websites are correct replacement for the engine. Kinda funny that oldkimmer brings into to play the the jag, I spent hours yesterday looking at the odd ball stuff thinking that maybe this is the case to no avail just got a kink in the neck.... Anyway today I am thinking that maybe there is another issue here. I thought maybe it could be an issue with the rad not being the correct rad for the car.And checking the number out in the book it seems the rad is not a 1970 but rather a 1971 possibly from an E body car. If this could be the case is there a spacing place on the rad that would pull the rad closer to the engine rather than hugging the rad support in the front? I have about a 1/2" of space between the front of the rad and the support wall.
If the bracket is set a little different this will make a difference between the water pump flange and the backside of the rad....I think. When I have some more time I will measure things closer and I guess go from there. Thanks guys.
