Early 340 identification and value

that is about the going rate on most of these parts for early 340, if not spun and std bearing the crank will bring more.
pull the valve cover and get the casting number on a head. did you get any exhaust manifolds with it?


Id have to say if it turns freely and no spun bearings it is worth more then $500. Would be to bad but you could sell it in pieces for more than that. X heads $200-$500, intake $50- $100, V/Cs $50-$100, 68 timing cover $50-$75, Steel crank $100-$150, bare block $400-$600. JMO
