It would be nice to re-connect the engine with its original car (mine if possible). Can you post the VIN#. On that engine it is located on the top, drivers side of the block where the back of the engine meets with the bellhousing. Thanks.

VIN should be on the front, drivers side of the block, not at the back. That was later.

Check the valley, and see if it has extra oil passages, with block-off caps on the head surface.(just out of curiosity)
