the porting will really help... another big thing to do is have the head, or block (my preferance) to get the compression up, plan on around .080 off... you need to figure out how far down in the hole the piston is, and the cc's of the head to do so...

if you do get a new cam keep it around 230 @ .050 duration or lower 220-230...

What about the clifford performance cam kits? Or is comp a better option? Do either require a bigger stall in an automatic?
