commando's vs. eddie rpm's

I would like to find out what you guys think of the commando aluminum heads by MP as opposed to eddie rpm's. Different chamber sizes, different intake cfm, wonder if they might not be better for a small cube hot rod, asopposed to eddies with bigger ports, might have same velocity problems as j and x heads on 318- am I wrong? Similar price range. My car ain't a race car, might be quick but it's a driver. Would the commando's give me better street performance?

I run large port commandos on my 340 and drive it every day. The chambers were only 47cc's new but I opened them up to 53. I ported mine at home and pulled 287cfm at 550 lift. The intake port ended up being 193cc. The price has went up alot since I bought mine...I think there are 800+ now and I got mine for 610. The rockers are offset and I didn't like what was out there so I just got Jesel and never looked backed. Good heads in my opinion and also I kept the under size valve seats from MP so I had room for a rebuild down the road. I left alot on the table in terms of flow because of that. I think 300 would be easy to hit with the seats taking advantage of the 2.02 valve. Also beware of the valve stem clearance out of the box.
