Update On Laysons Problem

Just to add my 2 cents worth. I've dealt with Year one for several years, I don't buy alot but everytime I do, I get nothing but the best service out of them. I ordered a windshield gasket for my 69 Dart on Monday 10-15-07 It arrived at my house 10-18-07. Stick with the companies that work!!

Does Year 1 carry both the upper & lower trunk trim for a `68 Barracuda?

THAT'S why I dealt with Laysons..... They have a few items you can't get ANYWHERE else. Those trunk trim pieces are BEAUTIFUL! I know they're made in some foreign sweatshop and not by Layson's... but they are being MADE! I bought a set (through Rick Keesler) for $575. All-Trim wanted $1,000. And that's for restored, flimsy original aluminum pieces. Layon's are stainless steel and will out-live the sheet metal. I use Year 1 for the common stuff EVERYBODY catalogs, such as my headliner, wiring harnesses, under hood clip and bumper kits, etc. Year 1 got a few grand from me during my resto. Layson's less than $700. My customer service experience was great from the BOTH of them.

I've said it before, I'll say it again: Contact Rick for anything you MUST buy from Layson's. And as for Dave, I'm sure it's just a matter of time before he get's whacked with a gym sock full of spark plugs at a show someday....:thumrigh:
