Anyone know the dimension of an A-body 8 3/4 Housing without the axels in it? I have one sitting here that I wanted to sell to another FABO member but when he came over we got to measuring it and perch widths don't match any know dimension for any body style, 43.5 inches. And guessing how far the flanges are from the ends doesn't come close to anything either.

this help?

For flange to flange thats a different number that what we had looked up. Unless we are measuring to the wrong flange? Is this talking about the flange that the backing plate bolts to or the flange on the hubs?

Thanks Abodyjoe! We were measuring 52 3/4 I believe but we were kinda bending the tape over the pumpkin area. Could also be why were measuring .5 inches wider on the perches too.

Burn that fricken chart from your memory. Biggest POS on the internet!

ABJ has you on the right track.
