Looking at the pictures side by side, the RMS looks like a tank and the Control Freaks has the look of finesse.

As an added comment, in the newest Mopar Action magazine (August - wtf, its only May) there's a 3 page review of RMS in the Tech Section (with illustrations) that doesn't speak very highly of the RMS design, pointing out some questionable characteristics of the suspension. I would guess that those same comments would probably apply to Control Freaks as well, since they look pretty much the same (except tank vs finesse). But, maybe not.

I think anyone considering an RMS front end should read that article.

that clown has been bashing the alter-k and all tube k-members for years now. he is obsessed for some reason.

i know for a fact that chrysler engineers built a duster to take over seas to do some racing and they used an alter-k. we are talking chrysler engineers here.

as far as the rms and control freak goes. yes the control freak is a direct copy of the alter-k only in round tube. i remember a guy with a blue dart bragging about buying an alter-k and having his buddy copy it for him. it was posted on moparts years ago. personally give me the square tube. its beefy and holds up to street abuse.
