Intake question?

I beadblasted my new to me Eddy D4B intake for my 67 273 and discovered some pitting on the intake manifold gasket surface, looks like from water leaking from the cooling passages. I am thinking of taking it to the machine shop and having the intake surfaces machined to clean up. Is there a safe number I can ask them to remove before I get into geometry problems? Thanks!
