Similar idea, but I got a used throttle body from a Stratus (I recall) ~$20. That gives a TPS sensor and IAC. Even though from a 4 cyl, the bore is much larger than the 1 bbl on my slant, so shouldn't be restrictive. Of course I need to make an adapter plate. It will be a while before I try EFI.
