1970 v 2013: How the Darts Stack up
I have never really cared for modern cars, until the new Challenger came out. (Thats probably the first car made in the last 20-25 years I would consider buying. But thats just my opinion.) I thought that Chrysler should have done that with the Dart. Maybe modeled the new one off of the 67-69 body style?
SpeedRacerX made a good point. When I had my '70 Valiant, I thought, and still do, think Valiants are cool looking cars. Had I been alive in 1969, I know I would have had a very different opinion on a four door sedan. That car was called the, "Ugly Duckling" for a reason. Just like the new Dart, the original A Bodies were basic, bottom of the line transportation.
I did the hear that the back window on the new Dart was inspired from the 68-70 Chargers.
