Perhaps there is a small blower motor under the dash to blow cabin air (like our rear air defrosters)? I'm sure Syed can solve the mystery.

The car came originally with the two side cold air box near the driver and passenger footwell which I removed and blank off the holes to have a better seal in the cabin for A/C. But no blower under or behind the dash.
