To Ride or Drive...
Only you know if its right to sell the bike or not. Which do you like better, the bike or the car? Having the bike isn't going to make you miss time with your family any more than not having it since it's you, & ONLY you who decides how you spend your time & where your priorities are. I have a Harley that I love to ride but haven't put more than 300 miles on it in the last 2 summers because of my family obligations. But when I do get on it it's my little reward. The only reason I may sell it is to help pay for my son's tuition. It's up to you. Do you think you will enjoy the car more than the bike? Then you may want to sell it. If not, & if there is no other reason, keep it.
As for the marriage issue, I hate to tell all you guys here but once you bring a child into this world you are FOREVER attached to that childs mother! Like it or not! You will have to deal with her the rest of your life because you share the child. If you think otherwise you are just kidding yourselves. Keep in mind that in the childs eyes there is no difference if you split up as BF/GF or if you get divorced legally. The fact is to the children Mommy & Daddy don't love each other any more & we aren't together as a family. Period! Personal belongings don't mean ****! The purpose of a marriage is to affirm that commitment between you both that is the foundation for the family structure that is needed. If we all just only listened to the people who ***** about things we'd never buy or do anything. We wouldn't buy cars: I'd never buy another Dodge, that thing was nuthin' but trouble! We wouldn't buy houses: Every time I turn around I'm putting more money into this place & my taxes keep going up! Funny how we jump at lame reasons & point to other guys situations when it come to marriage. It's really more about how much you want to invest of yourself into things rather than what your afraid to lose. Marriage isn't for everyone, but some of the excuses here are ridiculous!
