I had an HID light on my last bike. Don't remember the brand off the top of my head, but I can say it threw a lot of useable light while not being blinding for oncoming traffic. Was able to light a 4 full lanes of road surface, saved me from hitting more than 1 coyote. Will look for the brand of it....it was the XE5r listed
