To Ride or Drive...

Welp, I've decided to do as I was thinking. Sell the bike, spend the time around the house with the new family, Boy that's a different feeling saying that, and renewing my passion for MOPARS, which is what got me into motors of ALL kinds anyways.

I'll enjoy the rest of the year on the bike, but come spring 2013 the ole gal will be up for sale. 6-7,000 bucks is going to go a looooong way with a car that already has a running (with minor work) motor and case for trans rebuild. I suppose i'll throw down a list of what I have planned.

The motor in the car was built more than a decade ago, but i only put maybe 10k miles on it before it was parked. 318 bored .030 or .040. Going to do a cam change and i THINK I have a set of 360 heads i can rebuild and slap on.
Rebuild the Carter AFB 650 thats sittin on top.

i'd love to get an 8 3/4, but damn thos things are expensive, so maybe an 8 1/4 or maybe baterdize it a little and slide in an 8.8 ford.
wireing harnesses need gone thru completly, I saw laysons sell the dash harness and forward, maybe i'll just do that instead of tracing old, brittle and cracked wireing.
fix the lower rear qtrs.

I figure I can doo all this easily for 7 grand.
