Carter AVS question
in the images of my 383 AVS, at the upper top there is a pressure relief of some sort, there is a spring and a ball in it but no visable outlet. my question is, the spring is visable and the ball is on top of the spring away from the opening in the brass retainer, is this the way it should be and if not, does one gently pry out the retainer and put the spring in first then the ball so it is blocking the hole in the retainer with spring pressure, it would seem that it is supposed to that way, and what is its purpose? thanks Gerry
