2.02 or 2.05 that is the question

I know while I've been discussing with my machinist about building power on a 318 or 360, and the one thing that he said is that even upgrading from 1.88's might gain you a tenth in the quarter, but it's not a difference you'll be able to feel. And he told me (and some goofing with Desktop dyno seems to confirm this) I'd make much better gains putting in bigger exhaust valves than going bigger on the intake. (not quite twice as much)
