interchangable parts-parts manual

During the process of my husband getting his 1972 Duster restored some of the parts have came up missing. I have been given a list and I've been assigned the challenge of finding replacements. Is there a parts manual that list the manufacture number of parts? It seems to me some parts are interchangable between years, but I don't know how to check on this. For example I was looking on ebay at a hood latch support. The one shown for a 73-74 Duster A-Body looks the same to me as a '72 support. I don't want to buy things that won't fit. I need all the help I can get so if you have any suggestions let me know.:newb:
