hi you have a pvc valve in motor?? they suck oil. the motor have lots of miles on it? prob rings are varnished? intake gaskets metal? use a sealer on them ? just curious.
yes. it has a pvc valve on the valve cover . it a new one and works fine !
engines as 82K on the clock ..
the intake gaskets are a felpro style .. pressed cardboard .
yes I used orange permatex on all the port perimiters when I installed the ld4b intake . I read on this site I should NOT have used any permatex around the intake ports .. my mistake there . and that could be an issue sucking oil from the valley area.
heard that permatex desolves and gets suck into the port creating a void and suck oil from the valley .
That could very well be a spot to look at if the smoking does not clear up when on the throttle hard.
