The tear-down of Jake's 65 begins....

So while I finished welding the underside of the right qtr, Jake started taking the right front suspension apart.... I introduced him to the pickle fork and upper ball joint socket (complete with a breaker bar and old floor jack handle for leverage....) We're doing the Scarebird disc brake conversion along with the front end rebuild. A buddy of mine sells industrial parts and is setting me up with the best wheel bearings he can get for a fraction of the cost for what I can buy anywhere else. I've never had the front of one of these little A's apart before.... I was surprised at how small the bearings are compared to my Fury....
