thanks badsport for the reply,the linkage has been disconnected and removed, I was planning to use the lokar cable set-up, would the engine have to be running in order for the throttle lever to move even tho nothing is hooked up to it? Also, there is only about 8 pints of fluid in the trans right now, had to make new cooler lines, didn't want to fill it up yet due to possible leaks.
