Suggestions for muscle car sound muffler without drone

If you want performance with less drone,go for a straight through design,like a Dynomax or Magnaflow muffler. Super turbos will be more quiet,at the expense of HP (they are not straight through).
If all out HP isnt an issue,than these will be good.
But if you don't want to lose any HP,check out a set of Dynomax ultraflows or Magnaflow. They do not have the droan of a chambered (Flowmaster)muffler.

The sound clip on the web site for the dynomax Ultraflow sounds like it controls the sound level pretty good and has a nice low rubble. The Cherry Bomb Vortex sounds like it has a higher pitch and may be louder. I wouldn't mind a straight thru design as long as it wasn't too loud. Hate to trade off no drone for louder all the time.

I hunted up some sound clips on line of Magnaflows on older muscle cars. It seems to do a pretty good job of keeping the sound level from getting too loud and has a nice low rubble. I guess these oval straight thru designs are much better at controlling the sound level than the bullet glass packs that I remember.
