67 Barracuda parts needed

I am confused with the trim ring? The 67 was plastic filler strip
and the 68 69 were stainless steel bottom pieces is this correct?
What would you recommend to do with a 67, I here that the plastic
shrinks over time.

Yes it does shrink, peels and turns yellow over time.
All the bottom strips on the 1967 through the 1969 Barracuda and Dart convertibles were plastic. The fastbacks and the notchbacks had the different stainless trim starting in 1968.
