1970 Duster radiator support seal

Hey guy's I have a 1970 Duster and I purchased a a radiator support seal from Year one and it does'nt seem right. What I'm asking. Did it come with that rubber seal in the first place? It was'nt on the car before. Let me know guys. Thanks...340moparman
