Edelbrock 600 carb issue?

Will read the plugs when I get out of work today. Drove it in and jetted up to 69's on primary side on lunch, and it drove a little better!!!! Might go to 71 primary 73 secondary and see what that does. Right now the hesitation is minimized and idle is down to about 1000rpm and more stable.

Well I got it figured out. The other day I was attempting to tune this Holley some more and I finally noticed that the pass side primary booster wasn't spraying fuel when throttle was applied. So I took the bowl off and started cleaning every hole again with carb cleaner. While I had it apart I decided to go back to the baseline jetting and when I removed the jets I found it -- a big greasy wad of gunk right underneath/behind the jet. Don't know how I didn't see that before!!!! So I got it out, put everything back together and baselined, after after two tries and a couple pumps (remember, no choke horn!) it fired and ran. Some slight adjustment of idle speed and mixture and it was running as good as it ever has!!! All the issues I was having with the eddy carb are gone and it runs smoother and feels much peppier. No hesitations whatsoever, no bogging or chugging, just a nice smooth transition from idle all the way up to WOT, even when matting it. I might play with the jetting again, but for now I couldn't be happier.

Thanks to everyone for your comments and suggestions, I sure learned a lot trying to fix this issue!!
