Yet another reason that FORDS are my least favorite...

I think the antifreeze from a leaky heater core is what did my first one in. Personally I think that's a design flaw to put the ECM within reach of something that has the capability to leak liquid all over it. But if it only happens once every 15 years or so, I can live with that. Course, God only knows what I'll have to pay for another heater core, let alone an ECM, 15 years from now.
