Maybe cool is the wrong word but no, I don't agree driving drunk and having an accident is the same as murder...well it depends, if they jump the sidewalk and mow down people waiting for a bus...but still, you get these old people who drive and kill somebody and they don't get hit with 2nd murder.

I like laws to be fair and equal, if they want to hit people with 2nd degree murder for drunk driving accidents, then charge EVERYBODY who is at fault in a fatal accident with 2nd murder, why should the fact they are drunk matter...what about the guy who flies through a red light while sober...in fact, that is more deliberate isn't it ?

I.....uhm..no wait..What? Charging through a red light while sober constitutes as vehicular manslaughter. and whats this nonsense about that being worse than driving drunk....Driving drunk+ killing someone while running that light is 3 crimes...driving sober and doing the same thing is 2...but more to the point if you willing get hammered then kill someone while behind the wheel..you deserve to go to prison for the rest of your life where you get a human booster shot from a guy named Mary. At least running that red light sober stands a better chance of a non death outcome.
