If you can't get the entire motor and tranny with all the brackets, pullies, accesories, distributor, carb, kickdown linkage etc. etc, you will be doing a lot of scrounging for parts

If you really wanted to do this I would look for a complete car that the body is crapped out on but stilll has a complete running drive train, you will probably spend less than the free motor that you still have to scrounge up parts for
