interlock on 74 dart-- disable/remove

Splitting the pitman are from the center link is a heck of a lot easier than getting the pitman arm off the steering gear. There may be a nut there that requires a 1& 5/16 socket.
If you want / need steering control, you would need all the tools required to remove the lock from the column. That would be my choice. I can do sitting in the drivers seat a lot easier than I can do underneath the car.
