Anyone have extremely stupid neighbors?

A friend of mine in high school once broke the accelerator cable on his GM, so he tied an electrical cord from a lamp to the carb throttle and used it as a throttle. He just pulled on the cable that went through the firewall into the interior to bring the car up to speed by hand....

He also had a 74 Grand Prix that he stripped the interior out and drove around a while with milk crates for front seats!!! That was before the seat belt laws....
