Converter brand, cost$$$$ and how close was req. stall

And that's why i started this Thread!
I'm surprised, that almost every one was happy with there converters.
Thought i would hear some story's............guess not.

Well i will add a story of my own. My first converter i lay the fins down flat in a matter of a month. Wasn't using a transmission cooler. Just the one in the bottom of the radiator. burned it up good. :violent2: had to start with a fresh 11" core. He ask me if i had put the aftermarket cooler on......I said yeeess:^o
He built me a new one and it has lasted some 10 years WITH A LARGE TRANSMISSION COOLER.:cheers:
