You may want to consider stepping up to a set of these kickpanels with speakers for the front.
You don't have to cut anything, they will provide a good balance with your 6x9s, and they don't detract from the interior. I put a set in my Barracuda, but upgraded the speakers in them and they really sound nice. Only downside is that your vent doors are limited to how far you can open them. But, they still open and provide plenty of air.
