A-Bodies...Big Motors / New Hemi Duster - FINAL ASSEMBLY

I'm going to post a few photos for HemiDenny and lifelong friend Dan.

When I had my '68 RR, Denny had a '69 GTX and Dan had a beautiful
'69 RR 383 Air Grabber 4-speed in B5 blue/B5 blue trim.

Today's story starts out when HemiMark was fortunate enough to locate
and purchase a perfect '70 Duster 6-cyl 3-speed in Nebraska.

Completely stock, no rust and when the sides of the trunk mat were
flipped up it looked as nice as the day it was built. They're not many
left this nice.

Mark had so many projects already on his plate that he agreed to let
it go, but only to somebody he knew.....So HemiDenny bought it.

Weeb gave it a bath, bolted on some ralleyes and garaged it. our
regular painter Mark ('Bout) has already applied black '71 340 style
side and tail stripes (not pictured) without the engine size callout.

Then Dan really got the bug.....and because it was him, Denny sold
the Duster to Dan.

Now it's slated to receive a built 383 4-spd with Schumacher mounts
and TTi 440 B/E body headers that Denny modifies to work with the
bell crank for the clutch pedal and an A833 4-spd trans.

The engine is one that Weeb pulled from a New Yorker parts car and is
dated 1/69. Only the block, crank, pan & timing cover are retained. It
has KB pistons on Eagle H-beam rods, Edelbrock heads and a Comp Cam.

The rear will get new +1" arch leaves on offset hangers. Dan has bought
a set of later model front spindles/brakes/control arms with a 4.5" bolt
circle to match the now 8.75" 3:55 rear end.

Since Denny has already assembled the engine at his shop I thought it
was about time to post some pictures.
