Go Argos!!! 65vart(Wally) the lucky sob is at the game! I predict an Argo win 28-24 over the Stampeders!! Chad Owens will have 150+ total yards! Ricky is going to have 250+ in the air.

Stamps are gonna kick some Argo ***!!

I'm a Rider fan, so I root for the west :finga:

Toronto has finally made the league trade ALL the talent to them, just for this big year!!:wack:

Still love you though Steve:D

You heard of a player named Rambo? I work with his father....Cedric.

LOL, I think he is actually backing up Kevin Glenn.....LOL!! At the very least Wally can backup a toilet:pottytra:

And as for our friend the riders fan well that about say's it all in a nutshell eh !

It's half time and Calgay's 18 points down, time for a come back! GO STAMPS! Hey Danny, didn't Edmonton have a guy named, ummm, Ricky Ray :)

Never heard of Rambo......but Cedric Minter was a great Argonaut in the 80's!

Aaaarrrrrggoooooossss!! Thanks giving us Ricky Ray there Eskies, and thanks to the Stampeders for the Defensive Coordinator Chris Jones!!

Congrats T.O.

Another typical Grey Cup game for yours truly, consisting of Molson Canadian beer, Montreal style smoked meat sandwiches, Poutine, and a restaurant filled with cheering Argos fans... In LOS ANGELES! ... BOO YA! What a great night!

I got to watch the game here in Northern Michigan, coudn't believe it. Love those ARGOS !!!!

I'm assuming this is CFL? Do they still have the goal posts at the front of the endzone instead of at the rear? Just curious... Down here in the Midwest, we don't usually have much contact with Canadian football.

Speaking of Canadian sports, any Curlers here? I've always wondered exactly how that game is played. Not that I want to take it up, but it's always intrigued me. I assume the guys with the brooms are trying to smooth the ice to maximize the distance the stone goes. I've just never figured out how points are scored, IF points are scored, or if you just try to be the closest to the center. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks.

Yes, the goal posts are at the goal line. But, the wider field means the kicker is coming at it from a more radical angle. There is also an extra man on the field and players can be in motion toward the scrimmage line before the snap. ...Curling is best played drunk! Every curling rink has a bar! It's the same scoring method as shuffleboard. The ice is "pebbled" so it slows the momentum of the "rock". The brooms make a channel for the rock to travel.

...and the endzone is the size of a walmart parking lot :D

Good on Ricky Ray, must have a real warm fuzzy feeling inside, bad move Esks :eek:ops:

And they win BEER!!! :thumblef: Love curling. The brooming actually melts the pebbles, allowing the rock to get some grip, and curl. Not sure if the pebbles slow down the rocks, but could be.

For a great lesson in Curling, watch "Men with brooms". Very funny movie, and quite accurate in it's depiction of us Canadians.(at least the ones from Lakeview:D)

Thats Lakefield there puddle pants!! Have ya chkd in with Wally to see if he made bail?? I figured I woulda seen him streakin on the field!!

And one of the most important aspects of the Canadian Football league - we only have 3 downs to the the job done, none of that girly 4 down stuff :) Just kidding, but boy, did Calgary suck this time, it was embarrassing. They couldn't get anything going. Go Oilers - next year.
