BEWARE of dealing with rtse66

Buyers beware of dealing with member rtse66...After several weeks (since 11/21/12) he has not yet mailed back a $15.00 check for parts I agreed to purchase for a friend but he was unsuccessful in removing them so he cancelled the deal, no big deal. But what is a big deal is I don't need some "unknown" person holding onto my personal check with my name, routing # & checking acct. # and try to fraudulently alter the check, then cash it for a different amount. Trust me, I know how easy this can be done. I prefer not call him at his phone number because I don't trust people in situations like this from my experience in law enforcement. They know they are 100% wrong and resort to false accusations, by saying they were threatened him during a phone call, in order to deflect from the real issue at hand and gain some type of leverage. Experience has taught me to keep all communications documented, such as through emails or PMs.
Last correspondence from him was two weeks ago when he stated" he was spaced out sending u the check back" yet he has posted replies to his "68 Barracuda Parts" in the Parts Car Section For Sale thread.
Maybe the mods can PM him to rectify this. I never send checks for deals but he didn't have a Paypal acct. I will never do another transaction unless its thru Paypal.

How many upper/lower molding clips do you have in all? There should be 8 pairs in all. Do you have any of the "Barracuda" emblems in nice shape without pitting, breaks or chips? Roberto
i have 3 extra trunklids with poor trim on them, i havent counted all the clips together but i'll count all the tabs and send that many clips.
no i need barracuda emblems for the fender myself and i have one good trunk emblem.
