thats a big help, as you can probably see makin good low end is the picture so the smaller the cam the more torque it will produce, maybe detunin this chevy would work but it just ain't a Dodge so why waste my time? it's a darn good runnin boat but I like my mopars :) so far it seems I'm lookin for a 1968 318 camshaft in useable shape, it dont gotta be brand new, i can install new lifters on it, if it has lifters in proper sequence is a plus...so far from what I have seen thats the one makin the biggest torque at the lowest rpm's, I went to a few sites with the oliver combines and can't see the dodge 318 engine being mentioned so for
Not sure if it would be an option but in the early 70`s they used the 318 in farm equipment. My Oliver combine has one but I do not know the HP and torque specs on it. It is a 73 if that helps with your search for specs.
