A specific member, reminded me of someone,a long time ago.I love Deep Purple! Fell in love, with Jon Lord's first lead in,on "Perfect Strangers".He reminded me recently, how outstanding this band is.Would love feedback.....

one of my all time favorites, just not right when yer crusin' and you don't have machine head, or in rock, or fireball, playin'..............
ritchie blackmore....... what a guitarist, always liked ian paice's approach to the drums.....love that band...

Yeah, can we have everything louder than everything else?

Deep Purple

I like a few of their songs but one of my favorite all time favorites is from TOMMY BOLIN as a solo artist" post toastee" note many know about it'd for some reason but its pure genius to me
Tommy Bolin, one of my favorites too. Sadly He was really into drugs by the time
He got his chance to play guitar with Deep Purple and died shortly there after. Wild Dogs is one of my favorites, also the album James Gang Bang.

big fan here

Went to their concert back in 1975, Highway Star was my favourite song. ELO was the back up band, great concert, odd that I can remember so well, certainly can't remember all the concerts that well from back then, you know, from all that 2nd hand pot smoke :D

I have always thought that Deep Purple sounded better live than their studio stuff. I think it might have been from all that energy that was generated by a live audience.

Either that or it was from the pot being passed around and having their amps at "11"!

Deep Purple is an awesome band. They are one of the bands that inspired me to be a musician,

Always blame it on the "other" guy.
