A 4 inch crank will torque, not so much HP. This is why 340 guys love the 340 over a 360. Screaming RPM's making mad HP.
The duration, besides dictating the power band just holds the valve open for that ground in duration. What Screwz did was use the quick lifting roller and big lift I conjunction with the big port Indybrock head to move the larger volume of air in lighting quick. The intake coupled with the unrestricted wide ports of the head start a ramming effect at higher RPM's jamming in more air and fuel.
On your engine, did you take full advantage of the heads lift & flow abilities?
Someone above said its a big cam. Not in this camp! I see it as a big small cam or a little big cam. LIFT on the other hand is (LOL) a bit more than I'm used to dealing with!
