Eddy heads on 416 stroker question

The heads I will be using next were bot from MRL and had the springs I bought for the cam installed. I basically let Mike work out what I needed to copy a build he posted here including the cam and roller lifters (a 418 which also has the 20 cc dish pistons I have in the 416). Bot Hughes 1.6 rockers and sent them up to him to clearance. This worked out pretty good. Only thing I might have done different is pay to also have the rockers put on the shafts and the shafts installed on the complete heads, ready to install.

Yes Indeed, To be honest, the way Edelbrock has the two small block RPM heads listed, it was kind of confusing for me. The one I ordered was labeled 340, which is correct I guess but I now understand that the other head (closed chamber) will help me regarding the Quench and the stroker build, which was mentioned here in this topic. Glad I asked the question. I do understand the jargon when it is explained, but I am far from a race performance expert. Mike at MRL helped me on this also. I would have loved to have him do this for me, but we are toooo far apart and I like to be nosey as a build progresses. I figure that way, I will learn more and someday be able to help someone else down the road.
