New guage panel from Mancini

Though a different vehicle, I made mine from 1/8 inch aluminum and finished it in two days although I never done it before. With mine I had to cut the dash which took another day. First I used artists heavy poster board to design and made a template and a sharp pencil attached to a circle compass to make the holes, a ruler for measuring the space of the gauges and after it was finished I installed the gauges to make sure it was what I wanted. I than used the poster board as a template on top of the aluminum scribed the holes for the gauges as well as the screw holes and lights and windshield wiper switches after which I brought it to a machine shop with the aluminum all scribed and had them use the correct tools to cut everything including the outside design, at that time it cost me way less than a hundred bucks with the aluminum. They even counter sunk the screw holes for use of small flat Allen heads screws.

I am making a new one for less of a gauge setup because I am removing the AutoMeters and going with SpeedHut and some other stuff I need in front of me...
very nice
