MSD blaster 2

The 8202 destructions say to use their .8 ohm resistor

The 8202 coil is considerably lower resistance than the Mopar coils, IE

8202 MSD shows at .7 ohms coil + .8 ohms resistor

Mopar (depending on what book you read) shows the coil at about 1.4--1.55 (Essex) or 1.6--1.79 (Prestolite) with a ballast of .5--.6 for either coil.

I would say if MSD says to use their resistor, that is what you should use.
