Eddy heads on 416 stroker question
I've been looking into eddy heads for my 416 project and the only reason to use the 60179 is if your pistons protrude .030 or more, its basically a closed chamber head with .060 piston relief cut into it which is way too much. To get .030-.040 quench with a .040 head gasket the piston has to protrude .060-.070 from the block. I don't know why eddy even offers these, also the just started offering the 60779 heads with hyd roller springs as 60775 but not as good as beehive springs.
