Does any ony know if the 66 dart 270 had a foot pump or electric pump for the washer fluid?

Didn't see any connections in the diagram nor is there anything on the car. I only have the needle jets and the tubes which go nowhere.

Any info would be great. Thanks

Haha, just found it on the wiring diagram, still dont have one under the hood.

Now, anyone have a link to one or maybe one sittin in your garage???

The pump mounts on the inner fender on the driver's side just below the washer reservoir. The real deal is almost non existent so you may need to do what I did and mount a universal pump in its place. Run a short piece of hose from the outlet on the reservoir to the input of the pump. The outlet of the pump connects to the hose running up to the washer nozzles. The switch for the pump is built into the wiper switch, just push in on the wiper knob.

If you have a little black button in the middle of your wiper switch, it came with the electric pump. You can buy one from any ford/mustang repo supplier.

If there is not a black button, you had a manual foot pump. You should be able to find one on here.

My 66 Dart doesn,t have a little black button for washer fluid and it has electric washer motor.Which I,ve since removed, due to racing the car.:D

You can use the same vintage car Ford replacement part. However, I found the spacing on the mounting ears for the screws were different or something like that compared to the mopar pump. I dont recall exactly what the difference was, but it was annoying enough for me to do the following surgery. What I did was cut off the mounting ears on the new ford replacement piece and then pop rivet the metal back (that has the correct spacing for the ears) off of an old junk mopar pump on to the ford pump. Worked perfect, and most people would not know the difference.
