My first car, the 66. originally a 225/904 column 7.25 2.94 sure grip car. swapped out for an 87 highway patrol 318 (360 top end factory) lockup 904 setup. averaged 18.4 mpg on a 500 mile, 7 1/2 hour roadtrip. soon to receive a BBP disc and 8.25 2.94 sure grip with subframe connectors. its a permanent work in progress.
