I agree with you 69 cuda ..
some of the things they did back then didn't make any sense . what were they thinking... imo
and they were suppose to be the mopar garru's .

Now if Dodge (Chrysler) put a little more effort into this 1966 D/Dart Project, besides some
bolt-ons and a Camcraft Camshaft, maybe they wouldhave enjoyed more success.
Like, having 14" x 6" Cragars S/S wheels all the way around, a Hurst Shifter for damn sake,
maybe a special set of (Code 273-D/D) Cylinder Heads with bigger ports and a 1.84" Intake Valve,
special notched-block with O-Ringed deck, and an Aluminum Dual-Plane High-Rise Intake.
And for good measure, a low-profile hood scoop with manual cable control under the dashboard
to open-and-close an under hood slide-plate.
