What's the WORST car/truck you've owned?

I had two terrible cars.

1999 GMC Jimmy

Bought in 2006 at 86,000 miles for $6,000. Drove around for test drive - ran perfect, looked nice (candy green paint) and no issues. 2 hours after registering car in my name - brakes fail and run into the back of a minivan at 10mph in stop and go traffic. Tried to pull off to side of the road with the minivan I hit,and the brakes continue not to work - so I ran into the concrete barrier on the freeway. I told the CHP officer I just bought the car today - boy did he feel bad for me.

Got the car repaired for $4,000. They said the paint on the hood had no primer underneath and looked like a cheap job. All evidence (including 2 broken engine mounts) pointed to the fact that old owner off-roaded with it or something - got it airborn, and nose-dived into the ground.

I drove it till it hit about 92,000 miles, and I was backing out of my girlfriend's driveway on the way to the mall, and all the sudden BANG! The car starts lurching and clunking and it won't move barely. I tell her we obviously can't go to the mall. I'm pissed. I don't know what I was thinking but I just floored it and the car went maybe 5mph all the way home. Every couple of revolutions the motor would make a really loud BANG! and then the rear end diff would make a nice chime. Sounded like I was doing a drive-by or something.

Opened the rear diff and it was basically dust and gear remnants. The transmission was cracked and leaked all the fluid out, but the motor still spun. I left the car out on the street and eventually no one wanted it there anymore so I had to tow it. $300 for it at the junkyard. Was never able to fix it.

Then there was my 2004 Pontiac Vibe
Paid $5k for it 2 years ago.

It ran great for the first two months i owned it. Then the radiator cracked or something and all the fluid drained out onto the ground. Replaced the radiator myself, and was back on the road for another 6 months. The 5speed manual transmission went out, along with one of the springs somehow. Car just listed immediately to the right front corner.

I bought a new 6 speed transmission for $1200. They didn't have any 5's and people were just converting them anyway. The Toyota powerplant was still running well, and still does run great sitting outside my house - the problem is with everything after the motor. So far in the last couple months I have replaced the transmission seals, transmission (again) and 3 CV shafts. The car has an issue with throwing the CV joints out of the transmission and then not working. (there is no limited slip). I thought i was putting them in wrong, so took to a mechanic the second and third time. Both times flew out again within 2k miles. Still no fix, but now the catalytic converter is busted, and costs $1500 from Toyota. Otherwise i can't register it in this state again...

So it's got $3k worth of stuff that needs to be done, and I paid 5k for it. I'm done with it. It sits on the street and I secretly hope someone blows through it with their car so I can go.... awww....:happy1:
