Transmission update for an a-727
Wow. Found it. It is a bolt on job.
RPM at a high speed cruise was down from 4,000, to just under 3,200
at 85 mph, and about 2,700 at 70 mph-perfect.
But at a cost of over 3K before shipping, it is very expensive.
Lastly, a lot of carbs such as the Holley, cannot do overdrives ..
