Connecting Rod 'Weight'

My 71 Casting date 318
Factory rod/ had factory 71 date stamped rod bearings.
Rod forging number: 2406782...................718 Grams.
They have been resized, rebushed, balanced, and fitted with ARP bolts though.

I'm pretty sure the #2406782 Connecting Rods were used for the
1970 and 1971 '318 Engines'.

These 'Rods' are a touch lighter than the #1618699 '273 Skinny Rods'.

But, some claim they were called '318 Marine' Connecting Rods that
had higher strength material.
