73' B3 340 Duster pro touring build
I painted my Manx with RustOleum Flat Black. It's perfect for an off-road car because I can blend the paint if needed and it's pretty forgiving. I have used meguiars quikwax with good results. I would not think you want to paint your car with that low grade paint but I was surprised of the ease and out come. I did not put a clear on it nor will I, because it's a waist. Flats are strange though because they show way more junk then any standard gloss finish. I always think house paint to be flat, but the reality is the wall of house will never see as much dirt as outside ( I assume). Any light scuff is noticeable. Any dirt shows right away. All the hot rods and cars out their with flat paint are making the owners crazy with keeping it clean. I would have second thoughts about spraying a car again with flat. I do think it's looks cool.
