Powersteering Pump

My factory power steering box is leaking. It's connected to a 6.1 jeep grand Cherokee pump. Guess I better read up on this thread!

Maybe I am mistaken, but I though factory power steerin guys (b&e body guys) were able to run a factory 6.1 pump with a factory old school power steering box? Anyone have any links or data points one way or the other? Thanks
